S. Manicka Vasagam serves as the Director of Shriram Research Institute, bringing extensive leadership experience and a strong background in scientific and industrial management to the organisation. With a distinguished career spanning several decades, he has played key roles in technical leadership, operational excellence, and strategic guidance within scientific and industrial sectors.

Before joining Shriram Scientific, Mr. Vasagam held senior leadership positions in major industrial organisations, including serving as General Manager in the Aircraft Division of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), where he led complex engineering and project initiatives. He is recognised for his commitment to quality, innovation, and developing collaborative relationships that bridge technical expertise with real-world applications.
